This is a great nerd backpack. The GF Loves it and it's an eye-catcher! Everyone asks about it and comments on how great it is. Since she's 26 and 5'8" I'd say this is certainly large enough for adults to use. :)
As for storage space, I cannot comment. This was a gift and I don't use it on a day to day basis.

This backpack is pretty sweet for the only fact that when I wear this around college I hear people talk, see people point, and get many comments such as "that is an AWESOME backpack", a lot of people also ask where they can buy one. The only thing is you will need to wash it often and the zipper has already snagged a bit. But if you want to be the talk of campus this is a must buy. I usually take it to the gym because it cant fit what I need for class, but its perfect for the small items when I need to go somewhere such as an amusement park, or working out.

I saw someone with this backpack several days ago and thought to myself that it would be a perfect gift for one of the avid Star Wars fans in my life. The backpack looks even better in person than it does in the picture, and slightly better quality than expected. It holds its shape very well with plenty of stuffing in the legs and "head." It arrived in brand-new untouched condition in a sealed plastic bag. Can't wait to deliver it as a gift!

I bought this as a present for my son who is a huge Star Wars fan. He really loves it and gets a lot of compliments on it. My only complaint would be that there really isn't much room in it.

I bought this little guy to go with my Halloween costume and then he will join Yoda in my strange purse collection. The inside isn't very big, you can probably stuff a small woman's winter coat in there and that's about it (and you will really have to stuff to get that in). Good use as a Halloween addition, kids overnight or traveling bag, or just a gym bag. Warning: When I got it in the mail I was very excited to see what it looked like, and it was dirty. There was brown marks around part of the zipper and a black ink smudge on the foot, but it also was kinda off white. I was in the market for a new used droid, I didn't know they would give me a used one. So you might have to do some washing or spot check when it arrives, that plastic wrap is obviously put on to make you think it hasn't been handled by anyone else. Everything but the marker smudge cleaned up real quick with some Oxyclean and warm water.
