5In-freaking-credible  Apr 24, 2004
By M. Pedersen
I figured since it was a practice sword, it'd break failry easily. Boy, am I glad I was wrong! I use this darn thing daily and it only show extremely slight wear on the handle, where the leather has darkened a bit. Its light weight and overall ease of use give this product my full reccomendation for younger studens and for well, just about every one!

5Great price for great quality.  Sep 10, 2011

Even though I've only started kendo recently, I can tell this is a good shinai by the way it is made. The wood is study and the weight on it is good for a starting kendoka.

Overall I would recommend this to a starter kendoka if not a more advanced student.

5I love these  Oct 20, 2010

I got addicted to kendo stick "battles" in college and it has stuck with me. I especially love the way these things are weighted.

I recieved this in very well condition, Dosn't break easily, however if you want to enter series tournaments and such I would recommend buying from a website that specializes for these

5Perfect for Jedi Training  Feb 01, 2012
By L. Nelson "lee_ann92"
My husband signed up with a local fencing studio to take a class in the choreography of the Jedi fights from Episode 1. The studio required a shinai in place of a prop lightsaber. The day he learned the routine, the shinai really took a beating and completely held up. In fact, we expect to use the shinai for a long time to come.
