I ordered this for my 18 month old who loves Elmo, and loves straps and buckles! A win/win I thought! As soon as we received it he put it on his back and it just fell apart! the strap came off completely and left a large hole in Elmo's head. The fur is also of cheap quality, leaving red fuzzies everywhere. And i do have to say, it's a shame calling this a backpack! I read all the other reviews and thought how big does a bag need to be for a toddler? but this is no backpack! it's a stuffed Elmo with a zipper in his back, you can barely stuff a lego in it.. I am returning for a refund, not worth the money!!

Although Spencers had this same purse/book bag, I ordered it from amazon because it was way cheaper than in the stores. This was a great surprise for an Elmo fanatic, who happened to also learn her ABC's, 1-10, as well as getting potty trained from watching his educational videos. I strongly suggest encouraging a child's passion or what they find interest in. She loved her "purse" especially because she could put things into it, zip it up, and carry it around. Even though the actual storage was small, she was able to fit the few small things she needed in it. Great buy!

Got this for our 2 1/2 year old who is addicted to bags/backpacks and of course Elmo, so it was a perfect gift for him. First thing he did was strap Elmo onto his back, it's got a small pocket for something "small". Very soft.

What can I say....Elmo in packpack form.....absolutely cute. My daughter loves this toy, and the small pouch is convenient for traveling with small toys.
