Smallest Scale Ever. May 04, 2013
By Josh McGee
If you are buying this toy, you know what you are getting.
At .00000000000000000000000000273% or 1 / 2.73x10^-27 % scale, it's the smallest scale anything in existence.
That right there is reason to get it.

Alright, this is only my second revoltech figure, but it's a good one. The first one I got was Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann, which came with more extras and looks a bit thicker, but is a little more difficult to pose dynamically. This figure is ridiculously awesome, and as a fan I'm super impressed with the level of detail.
What you don't see in the picture provided is the little extra bits that all revoltech figures come with. As far as that, this one is a little sparce in comparison to its revoltech bretheren. It comes with the typical stand, two 'reaching' hands, two 'holding' hands that seem to be pointless considering it doesn't come with anything to hold, and a large drill you can replace one of his forearms with for an attacking pose. It also comes with an extra center bit that you can use to replace Lazengann's head (the black one right in the center of the body) and make it look like the top half of the figure is floating above the bottom half. You can attach this by gently pulling the torso of the figure from the pelvis, and slipping off the head bit.
Now right out of the package, the joints on my were stiff and hard to pose. However, you can easily pull it apart piece by piece, rotate the joints a bit to wear them in, and then reassmble it without any trouble. After I did this, I was surprised at just how many dynamic poses I could put him in. Just remember to be gentle with it, because if you break one of those joints, they're hard to replace or fix.
I'm very happy with this purchase. It's kind of gotten me interested in more revoltech stuff. I totally recommend it to any fan of the show.

Awesome Aug 02, 2011

Just a great toy. This is my first Revoltech toy, and I am really impressed with the flexibility and sturdiness of the joints. They are just some of the best engineered. The joints move in so many ways, sometimes it is easier to pull the limb off, turn the joint, then replace the limb. The paint job is flawless. As a bonus, the box can be opened to remove the figure without damaging the packaging at all.
To nitpick a little, the red paint is a darker than pictured. Also, this is a small action figure, which seems inappropriate for such an epic mecha, but the overall product does a respectful job.
