This toy, scratch that, this piece of art depicting one of the most badass robots in the history of ball-smackingly epic robots, is the best purchase I have ever made. It sits on a shelf above my desk my desk as a constant reminder to kick logic to the curb and do the impossible. I don't believe in myself, I believe in Gurren Lagann who believes in me.

"Hoo Rah!"
This a great toy to display and look at. It is very poseable, but heres the kicker. Posing it is so freaking stressful. You hear the joints creak as you twist them and you stare intently at the gaps trying to work out the right way to twist it without snapping it. Some of the joints enter into sockets at strange angles and by the time you have finished careful manipulating it into the pose you want you need a stiff drink and a lie down.
But then you look at your figure, with the alternate head in place, fist raised defiantly to the sky and legs akimbo, looking just like like it does in the anime and you think to yourself "That looks freaking sweet"
hey you realise that one of the drill bits has become ever so slightly bent during your manipulations and you are going to have to pick it up to hae another go at it.
And then you pass out from exhaustion

The Revoltech Gurren Lagann Fulldrillized action figure is a great toy.... if you're a collector. Because it has drills sticking out of it everywhere, it can be difficult to pose at times, and the drills can scratch the paint if you're not careful. Very cool for collector's, especially the neat poses you can get it into (I personally like having its open hand stretched out with the giga drill in its other hand). Definitely keep it away from kids or pets though, the drills are actually quite sharp.

As a huge fan of the show, I was not disappointed in purchasing this figure. The amount of poses available to this thing is phenomenal! I change it almost every week and am never dissatisfied with what I can make. I proudly display it on my desk and every time I look at it while doing work, it reminds me of the awesomeness that is Gurren Lagann. All the accessories work exceptionally well and they stay in place. The included stand also helps make some spectacular poses. The addition of the necklace attachment for the drill made me very happy and proud to display around my neck. A fair warning, though: if you mess around with the drill too much, the stick holding it in place may snap off inside the drill, as did mine. This can be fixed with a small drill bit, but I haven't really had the time or patience to do so. For the price, I find this to be one of the best Gurren Lagann action figures out there and highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the show.

This was far from the first Revoltech figure I'd purchased, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Super-poseability is key in making great figures, and Revoltech always comes through. As you can see in the picture, the figure comes with an extra head, hands, chest plate, and drill arm. The drill arm is really cool because it easily switches out with one of the forearms, or it comes with a base you can plug it into and have your very own core drill to carry around! The figure also includes a display base, which is great for midair poses.
Now, this next bit comes as much more of a caution than a complaint, because you're looking at this item for the exact reason I'm cautioning you - there are tiny drill bits everywhere! Which makes the figure look really awesome. Its just not as awesome when you're constantly pricking yourself while you're manipulating the figure! Some would say that it goes without saying, but the pointy bits are well... pointier than I was expecting! Consider yourself warned!
