Hidden Leaf headband... Sep 22, 2006
Obviously if you're a real Naruto fan you need a leaf village head band :) Ive only bought this one so far but as far as I can tell, it can't get much better. You get exactly what you see in the picture and it looks almost exactly like what you see on those anime foreheads :P First of all, the insignia plate is real metal. It's actually impressive how heavy it feels in the hand. Second of all, it's fun to wear. The size is comfortable, plenty of growing room, yet not so big it looks ackward. Don't worry about it being to small either!
I guess the only con is just how wide the band actually is. This thing covers the whole forehead, atleast down to the eye-brows. This isn't for little ninjas.
All together, this can't get much better. The material is comfortable, the logo is shaped well, and it fits like a charm. If it was just a little smaller wide-wise I'd give it a 5. Can't go wrong with the leaf village.

An fan's review Nov 16, 2006

I'll start off by saying that THIS is the company to buy Naruto headbands from. It is high quality fabric that is very comfortable on the skin and the length will fit around anyone's head (trust me, I have a pretty big head). The insignia plate is made out of real metal and is engraved superbly. A velcro padding on the back ensures that the plate doesn't touch your forehead and cause discomfort. In other words, this headband is like it was plucked out of the show itself, and for the price, it is a very nice addition to any Naruto fan's wardrobe.

Love it Feb 20, 2007
It is great! You have to bend it a bit to shape it to your forehead. Let your mom or dad do it so you don't crease the metal. My mom slowly shaped it by hand and over a large round glass bottle to get the perfect curve.

Excellent buy Mar 27, 2008

This item is worth the money. The GE headbands are far better quality than those from Mattel/Hasbro, even if the selection in styles is more limited. These look more 'real', like something someone would actually wear and not just a costume piece.
The metal plate is solid aluminum and held in place with 6 smooth-head rivets. It comes pre-shaped, but aluminum is a soft enough metal that it can be reshaped to fit the head as desired. The symbol is stamped into the it, rather than just a stick-on decal like the other brands, so there's no worry about it rubbing off over time. The plate's fairly large, probably larger than those in the show, but again it seems more 'real' since this is supposed to be a 'forehead protector'. It shows fingerprints somewhat easily, but they wipe off just as cleanly.
The cloth is a polyester/cotton blend, double-layered for durability, and about 34" long overall. Smaller children could wear it like a belt as some did in the show, but for most it's a headband only. There's a strip of cloth on the back of the headband, behind the plate, that protects the forehead from being rubbed raw by the rivets.
Overall it's a great accessory and a must-buy for anyone interested in Naruto costuming or just the show in general.
