Good to see Richard Garfield back in the mix Nov 15, 2011
By Lee Sin Yong
"creative accountant"
Richard Garfield returned to help in the design of Innistrad, and it shows. Strong cards with other good basic cards round out a set with unique and fun mechanics. While it is sort of annoying keeping up with a card that placeholds the two-sided cards, the idea as a whole is interesting. I hadn't played in years, but this set drew me and my friends back in.

Great Oct 14, 2011
By Sam Student If your a serious Magic fan and you want all Innistrad has to offer then this is your best bet. I pulled enough good cards from here to make several decks and to update and upgrade my already made decks. This was a pretty good deal because I wanted a large amount of Innistrad cards if you don't want this many stay with that fat pack. If you are serious enough to pick this keep in mind your grabbing 540 cards. So for some good deal for others not so much. If you really like Innistrad or have old decks you need to update pick this up otherwise stick to the fat pack.

Classic Strategy Game Nov 28, 2011
By R. Buck I have been playing Magic since it's inception, in '93. I have always loved and expect that I will continue to love this game. While some may scoff that it is only a trading card game, it actually goes well beyond that. It is a strategy game and therefore it pushes the player(s) to thoroughly think through each situation. I have always enjoyed this aspect and I feel this game will continue to be successful in the future due to this quality. Specifically about the Innistrad expansion: It has some great flavor; vampires, werewolves (including transforming humans!), and zombies. And as always it builds upon this concept of strategy, how to best your opponent(s) deck. Pick up a couple of boosters and give this set a try, even if you are new to the game, I garauntee you will enjoy even just the fantasy flavor.

Great game, great artwork, great strategy! Oct 31, 2011
By Malak Definitely worth it, if you're looking to up your collection and boost your chances of a worthy deck. Better to buy a full box of boosters, than to waste money buying individual boosters all the time!

Innistrad Feb 05, 2012
By Amazing Amazon "Amaz" Information buyers may find helpful:
- Innistrad is a large expansion set with 264 cards(16 Mythic Rare, 59 Rare, 67 Uncommon, 107 Common, 15 Basic Land)in the set. Large sets means more variety (fun) but less chance of getting "that one card" you really want. - IMPORTANT: Please don't misunderstand, a booster box does not contain all 264 different cards, each booster has 9 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare OR mythic and a double faced card of any rarity. *This is really good value-wise because you can get more than 3 uncommons or 1 rare/mythic due to double faced card being a separate component. - Also comes with an advertisement card and either a land or a checklist card (see below), sometimes a creature token and sometimes a random foil (foils can be any rarity.) - Try not to lose checklist cards that comes with most boosters, they're to complement the double-faced cards introduced in this set. - This box offers one of the best Planeswalkers - Liliana of the Veil. - Snapcaster Mage is (arguably) the best card in the set. - Some of the best first turn 1 Mana creatures I've seen. - Creature type: predominantly Werewolf, Human, Spirit, Zombies, Vampires. Werewolves are very interesting due to the transform mechanics. - Mechanics: Transform (double faced cards), Morbid (bonus effect if a creature died this turn), Fight (2 creatures dealing direct damage to each other based on their power), good ol' Flashback, and Curses (enchant players). - Sample tribal decks for beginners: U/B Zombies, U/W Spirits, R/G Werewolves, R/B Vampires. W/* Humans. - I was especially thrilled with my box because it contained a foiled and non-foiled Liliana! So obviously the boosters were not tampered or anything by the seller - Gaming Etc.
I'm not a pro and haven't seriously followed the MTG scene since Shadowmoor in 2008, but from the eyes of a casual player, this box brings enough fun and value for me to recommend it to others.
