Dynames like a MG! Nov 22, 2008
By Tufan Saðnak Really great model in detail and articulation. Bandai Models getting better and better in time. This non-grade 1/100 model is getting a HG degree from me and it also has some old MG features with its poseability in this very low price. It's good to build before starting a MG.

Gundam 00 GN02 dynames May 04, 2008

"inventive nature"
If you are a person who likes hands on experience and hate those lengthy manuals that leave you stuck, please believe me when i say that this model is very easy. aside from the japanese writing if you know your ABC and 123 and have a fair amount of logic this model kit can be put together without the use of paint and glue but you will need to buy gundam markers. please note too that this model product when finished is 7 1/2 inches tall and doesn't include a display stand. my final 2 cents this product is not for a child under 10 small parts are a hazard as they can be easily removed with that much brute force.
A great build Apr 26, 2012
By chrissr09 This is the second of 4 of the Gundam 00 season 1 gundams I have purchased and I have greatly enjoyed building it. It took me roughly around 26 hours to paint and build. You really don't have to paint it because the colors are what they look like on the outside of the box with the exception of a few minor details (i.e. the bottom of the feet, the black detail lines, light grey on the weapons)and no glue is needed. It comes with stickers you can use on some of the detail but from experience those don't hold up well over time. With mine I took the extra time to paint it using neutral grey for the weapons and pistol holsters, gloss red for the antennae on the head, gunmetal black (with a FINE tip brush) for the little lines you see, and a mix of neutral grey and gloss black for the shield detail, leg details, bottom of the feet, and other details shown on the box. Furthermore, it's quite sturdy and strong. Shortly after I had finished it, I placed in on a shelf in my room and during a lightning storm a bolt hit close by causing everything to shake. Needless to say the gundam fell from about 5 1/2 feet and not a piece came off. Although the same thing happened to my Kyrios model, the results were a little less unfortunate. I enjoyed building this model and hope to purchase another real soon.
What you really want to know Feb 10, 2012
By Archsage Soren Anyone who has found this already likely knows the basics; it's a snap together model kit based off of Bandai's Gundam franchise, in this particular case Gundam 00 Season 1. It's meant to be posed like art, not beaten up like an action figure, because it's a MODEL.
However, as a new and proud owner of the 1/100 NG(No Grade) Dynames, I have some insight of its particulars. Overall, it's a very stable and strong model, so long as it's compared only to other model kits of course. It fell about 4 feet down from my dorm room dresser, and nothing broke. As strong as it is overall, the plastic does seem to scratch a bit easier than the MG(Master Grade) kits, so be careful when removing from the runner and whittling off the stubs.
It has 1 small box of foil stickers; for the eyes, gun sights, front part of the GN Drive in the chest, the two red parts on its head fin, the reinforcement bars on it's armor "cloak", and a couple leg decals. Unlike the MG suits, it does not have the pressure applied, microscopic decal sheet of OMG. I like a clean, crisp Gundam myself, so I rarely used the small decals myself. They just read things like "Warning, hot after use" and "Danger: Movable Part" for realism, MOSTLY. While we're talking aesthetics, the colors are surprisingly nice out of the box. You can get away with not getting a paint job on it, but a few spots will be monocolored when they're supposed to be multicolored. This includes the storage slot on the back thrusters for beam sabers, the three guns it possesses, and small tidbits that I'm sure I'm forgetting, but aren't major.
I WOULD recommend getting a gundam marker or two, the ultra-fine panel line ones. Grey typically works better on white pieces, which most Gundams have, and Black works best for the darker bits. They're GM(Gundam Marker) 01 and 02 if you want the official ones.
The final difference is that the hands finish as solid pieces. MG models have articulate thumbs, index fingers, and then a chunk for the last 3 fingers on each hand. This has a closed right hand, a closed left hand, and an open left hand (To support the Sniper Rifle for posing). This is a minor annoyance, as it cannot wield weapons you get from MG kits like the Wing's buster rifle, but it gets the job done.
Overall, it's really more like a High Grade than a No Grade, and it poses crazy good. It's about as stable as my MG Wing ver Ka, if that means anything to my fellow modelers. If this sounds like the right kit for you, then have fun. Hope I helped.
2nd gundam model and really enjoyed it Jan 10, 2011
By Jay I picked this one up at a hobby store in town and I really liked it. The first one I did was a 1/100 scale wing zero custom. The dynames is very posable and id say a lot sturdier than the wing zero especially since its a newer model and the weight is evenly distributed for the most part. It took me probably a little longer than the high grade wing zero too but that might also be because im new to model kits. Id recommend this to anyone especially those just starting out.
