Everyone who watches Doctor Who wants a sonic screwdriver. But what good is a sonic screwdriver that doesn't sonic?
The description states it is "complete with a LED green light and sound effects" and "Has spring loaded extending action just like the Dr's". However it is a single molded piece of plastic that does not extend, and far worse, it doesn't make the sound! How can a child (at heart) pretend to be The Doctor (and not someone stuck in a cubicle) with a sonic screwdriver that doesn't sonic?

I already have the 9th and 10th Doctor's sonic screwdriver torch version, so it seemed appropriate that I get the 11th Doctor's sonic screwdriver torch too. It is smaller than the actual prop, is much, much lighter, and the clamp-like things around the light do not open as they do in the show, but those are the only drawbacks. It still is a really fun toy to play around with and is an excellent addition to any Doctor Who fan's collection.

Doctor who's sonic screwdriver torch (flashlight) is pretty fun to have. You click the button on the end and the light comes on. The light is pretty bright as well, it lite up my whole room green. I do wish it made the sonic screwdriver's usual nosie, but this way actually you can sneek around at night.

False advertising....The image shown in the listing does not correspond to the one I received. The sonic screwdriver looks like a combination of the 10th and 11th doctors screwdrivers.
