Great game Nov 27, 2007

Shut the box is a family tradition that we always play. We decided to buy a new one since our old one is on its last leg.
The game has real felt, great price, well made, and has all 12 numbers!! (not nine)
could not ask for more!!!!

A Family Favorite Feb 22, 2008
By Kid Lit Fan This is a great game for the entire family. Even the smallest children can play and as they get older they learn to add the numbers together and make various combinations of numbers. Adults love this as well.

This game makes you think Dec 28, 2007
By Linda Siders This is one of those games that you play with an actual person. Imagine that? It is a great competitive game that is actually fun for an entire family from about ages 8 on up. It requires strategy and when you don't succeed in getting all the numbers it makes you want to do it over and over again until you get it. Great for taking on a camping trip. Requires no batteries or any other electronic devices (just a little tongue in cheek comment there).

Shut the Box Review Jan 07, 2008
By Sandy Hutchison

While looking for Christmas presents, came upon the Shut the Box game. Had played it before and knew if would fit the bill for several of the people I needed gifts for. Ages 10-60 it is a good game and something one could play by himself or compete with others. It is good to keep your mind active, good for kids to practice their math, it is compact and easy to have a long in the car etc. The wormanship on the one I ordered was good. Four stars for sure.

great for a math whiz kid Jan 08, 2009
By Sunny A I gave this toy to my six year old grandson for Christmas. We had a great time with it. He was so quick to catch on to the different combination of numbers. The box was very well made and a good size. The only negative thing about this toy would be to keep the dice with the box when not in use. It would have been good if there was a compartment to store the dice. Very educational and no batteries required.
