At first glance, this seems like the perfect balance of cuddly and functional. Well, guess what? It IS!
This darling Wookie is adorable and fits everything I need for a typical day at my college. (Although I do put my spare sunglasses on HIS face, just to hold them).
However, Wookies are a GREAT responsibility. Their hair is ridiculous and will need to be styled every day, even if it's just a quick (but gentle!) brushing. When you first get your sweet Wookie, he might shed a little, but that will most likely go away in time. You might want to pack a lint roller into his back just in case.
All-in-all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. However, it is not one to be acted upon without much consideration. Please remember that you're getting more than just a backpack when you choose this: You're getting a friend. A friend that holds stuff.

I am 19 years old and I ordered the chewbacca back buddy for myself. It arrived a day before it said it would and it is really fun and cool. Only cons, very hot on back and is slightly itchy from all the hair, which is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. Also, it is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. Other than that, I love it.

Grandson spotted the Chewbacca Back Buddy at Disneyland during a recent visit and really liked it but it was expense. I went on line and found this item on Amazon for $15 cheaper. It always pays to search for better prices and free shipping is always a bonus if I can find it (most of the time on Amazon).

my daughther who is 14 loves this thing. i wouldnt call it a toy, its more of a backpack. i thought it was a little high but she wanted it for christmas so there you go. hes kinda cute but they could have used button eyes instead of stitched eyes because his hair covers his eyes and you can barely see them. you also need to be careful when zipping its pocket its lining and hair get in the plastic zipper and it gets stuck. i give it an overall 85 but my daughter would give it a 100.

I ordered this on a thursday, it said Id get it wednesday at the earliest. It came in monday so shipping was amazing. I ordered this for myself to take to high school. It doesnt really hold any books but it does hold little things, an easy way of putting it. It's like a purse you wear on your back, I dont even care it cant hold much it's so cute you cant resist not taking it. If you dont plan to use it for school dont even hesitate to order it. It's very fluffy and cuddley. I wore it and I couldnt even walk down the hall without someone screaming I LIKE YOUR BACK PACK! Girls kept wanting to wear him, its an overall 10/10.
