This practice weapon handles very well and feels comfortable in my hands. Its weight in my hands is very comfortable. And I am able to execute all my movements easily with it.

It is worth the price of purchase.

I didn't expect this to come with a laced grip on the hilt, though I don't mind too much. The bottom of the grip slips off every once in a while (nothing glue can't fix). All-in-all, this is a great tool for practicing swordsmanship. Though I haven't tried it in sparring, the sword works quite well for solo drills.

I'm not an expert in martial arts by any stretch of the imagination, but for the price that I paid I'd have to say that I'm pleased with what I got. Honestly, the hand guard was just annoying for me, and it detracted from the look of the sword. However, I am pleased with the sword itself. I haven't done any sparing with it, and I'm really not planning on doing so. The wood seems dense enough, but it would probably break after a while; but considering the cost, you cannot beat this deal for just a practice sword. I'm overall very pleased.
