Disappointed Dec 27, 2006
By Deborah Freeman

I am disappointed with this product. The containers do not stay closed and we have to use rubber bands to secure them. Also, there are pieces missing. Instead of the 181 black stones there are only 171. When playing on this size board, 10 missing pieces in one color, not to mention the 3 missing white ones, can make a big difference.

ok. For beginners. Jul 05, 2008
By Scott Pedersen When I purchsed this board i was very happy with it until I began to get into a full game. I learned that once the game gets around the half way point the small size of the board (13in x 13in) and the oddly shaped stones make it very difficult to continue. It becomes hard not to shift entire lines when trying to remove captured stones or even place pieces. However, the game is still fun and I do enjoy it. I just wish the stones were a bit smaller or the board a bit larger. For beginners this board would do just fine.

An exeptionally good deal! Mar 13, 2007
By D. Busher This Go game comes with the items as promised. I am very happy with this order. I have been playing with the board and stones like crazy! The only complaint I have is the of the pieces. Many pieces are different sizes, some of my white pieces have lumps on them but it doesn't make much of a difference.
I highly recommend this Go board! I give it a High Five for its great condition.
the most intelectural game for boys Oct 24, 2011
By Angie Fox go chess is popular in Asian countries and we got this set to practice after the Chinese school extracurricular class. The board is a little slippery and the chess piece will break when dropped. It's cheap compare to other go chess set, but you can make one for a fraction if you want to go cheaper I just found out. you can get the glass pieces from dollar trees for $2 and the board from project scrap.
LETS GO GET SOME GO!!!!!!! Jul 22, 2011
By Toma first of all, amazing. they got me the board in one day and i only got standard shipping. but lets get one thing straight, this is strictly a BEGINNER'S BOARD. its not maple or anything its that plasticky imitation wood stuff. there arent go bowls they are bags that are not very durable. the stones are a tiny bit misshapen and are big so they are very hard to remove. its a medium board thats great for beginners. i would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to play or has been playing for very little time, although i would go buy a cheap plastic go bowl no more than $20 because the bags are hard to tie and untie.Worldwise Imports Grey Plastic Go Bowls- Pair this is the link to the go bowl that i bought
